Absolutely perfect location close enough to the beautifull waterfall Aldeyjarfoss, and the in house restaurant. Also, to the highlands. Nice building and rooms with wonderful view. Wonderful breakfast with a great selection of outstanding foods.

The single room includes coffee and a kettle, and the breakfast provided is fantastic, with gluten-free bread as an option.

The room was really nice, super clean, and had a lot of natural light. the bathroom was big, which was great! They provided a hairdryer and big fluffy towels, which was a nice touch. 🛁.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in a quiet and beautiful location. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the shared bathrooms were not a problem at all. We especially enjoyed the excellent restaurant, with its tasty lamb, fish, and desserts. The surrounding farming valley with waterfalls was absolutely breathtaking, and we loved exploring the nearby Goðafoss and Aldeyjarfoss waterfalls. Although the gravel road to the guesthouse was a bit unexpected, it was manageable even with our regular car. we highly recommend this guesthouse for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Iceland.

We had a great stay at this guesthouse in Thingeyjarsveit. Kidagil Guesthouse is located down a dirt and rock road, offering a peaceful and charming atmosphere away from tourist areas. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing us with a warm check-in even though we arrived late. The room was spacious and clean, with a wonderful view of the nearby hillsides. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast was the best we had in Iceland. The guesthouse is also conveniently close to the beautiful Godafoss falls and other stunning waterfalls like Aldeyjarfoss and Hrafnabjargafoss.

Accommodations were comfortable and check-in was easy. Family-owned with kids around. Nice location, but secluded. Beer available and lovely common area. Clean bathrooms and satisfying breakfast. Close to Godafoss falls. Would stay again!

This place is situated in a remote location close to beautiful waterfalls and near Akureyri, a farm, and the attractions of the Diamond Circle.

Spacious rooms, plenty of shared bathrooms including one with a bath. Great play area for kids. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good quality food at the restaurant. Well-maintained dirt road to the hotel, easily accessible by car.
